How to prevent Human Tapeworms:
- Practice good hygiene.
- Wash your hands after: handling feces of any kind, using the toilet (home or public), .

- Make sure to treat pets against fleas.
- Make sure all fruits and vegetables are washed thoroughly before eating them.
- Dispose of garbage and waste properly in specified areas.
- Drink bottled water and not drink fountain drinks.
