1. Menopause is the same in each woman:
No, everyone woman has different symptoms.
Its not all about hot flashes and mood
swings. Just like PMS, each person
experiences it differently. Some women
experience no symptoms while others struggle
with mood swings, depression, fatigue, well
know hot flashes and a host of other
symptoms
2. If your under 45, you cannot be
experiencing symptoms of Menopause.:
Nope again. Many woman start into their per
menopausal period in their 30s. Obviously
some have had had ovaries removed causing a
surgical menopause. What ever the reason,
woman who are under 40 have a great risk of
heart disease and osteoporosis later in
life.
3. Heart Disease is for men only:
Get this right out of your head! Heard
disease in woman is the leading cause of
death for women, and buy passing cancer. One
in 25 woman will die of breast cancer while
One in two women will die of heart attack.

It was once believed that estrogen played a
part protecting woman and that once they
started into menopause the natural defense
against heart disease was gone. However more
recent reserch is now counteracting that. To
lower your risk of heart disease after
menopause, eating a low fat, low cholesterol
diet, regular exercise and managine your
weight, most of all not smoking are ways to
keep your heart healthy. Other
considerations are hight blood pressure and
diabetes.
4. Menopause causes depression. Although
menopausal woman can experience depression,
more often its woman of childbearning years
that experience the problem.
However menopause can disrupt sleep,
cause hit flashes and can make your more
irratiable. Additionally, woman who are
prone to depression can experience a
higher occurance during menopause, but will
subside after menopause is over.
